Plastic extrusion machine is equipped with a plastic extruder,which help shape plastic products by forcing or pushing it through a die.

The process of extrusion can be either semi-continuous or continuous and it can be done with hot or cold materials. The materials which are most commonly extruded are polymers, ceramics, metals, concrete and even food stuffs.

The extrusion is a method that is followed for making objects of a fixed cross-sectional profile, where in the material is drawn through a die which is of the required cross section.
